Theo Will Get a Chance...
In between having sex with ladies, and eating mooses, Sven Gorman Eriksson has promised Theo Walcott that he'll play a part in the World Cup, this summer, most definitely, he will. Walcott, or Foetus Walcott as he's known was Sven's surprise inclusion, unless you include Owen Hargreaves, ut at today's press conference, the lead Swede said: "My intention is that Walcott, sooner or later during the World Cup, will play a part. Absolutely..."
VK Red?
According to those cheeky monkeyses at Sky Sports, Vincent Kompany's agent has said that Arsenal showed interest on signing the player ahead of his move to Hamburg last week. The deal worth around £5.1m went through last Friday, but the splendidly named Jacques Lichtenstein said: ''Arsenal were interested in Kompany, 'Wenger made it clear that he wanted to sign Kompany to replace Sol Campbell, if he would leave the English giants..." Lichtenstein also joked that Spurs were also in the chase...
The Joy of Cesc...
Cescus Fabregas became Spain's youngest player on Wednesday night when he came on as a substitute for Spain against the Ukraine, in the World Cup Group H opener. The Spaniards easily ran out 4-0 victors against the Ukrainians, but the main thing was that Cesc did that like... well done Fab! Ahead of the game, the youngster said: "We have a squad full of quality which is determined to achieve a much better World Cup this time. People do not expect us to win because we have not been successful in the past. But with this squad, who are together as a unit with a good understanding because we have been together a long time, we could surprise everybody. People will see us and Ukraine as favourites to go through from our group. You cannot underestimate any opponent but we believe we should go through..."
Dodgy Barnet...
Doesn't make any sense that headine, but hey, who cares, no one reads this shite anyway. Arsenal will play the traditional friendly against Barnet, this year, this year being no exception. The game will be all ticket, take place on the 15th of July kicking off at 3pm, you know, like the old days. Ticket information would be here, I expect - so if you want to see it, I'd suggest you clicked your mouse on it. Interesting to see hospitality packages available... guessing that just means they won't piss in your tea, and your pie has a 10% chance of having meat in it rather than 0% like the pikeys in the rest of the ground...
