Campbell for Pompey?
Following on from the other days' story, that Tony Adams might be winging his way Pompeybound, its rumoured that his fat, mental, ungay replacement Sol Campbell might be joining him (is Portsmouth anywhere near Brighton?) There has already been rumours about a move to Turkey for Campbell, but with a rumoured £25m to spend, Portsmouth could yet land the hilarious free transfer from Spurs man. A decision is expected after the World Cup...

On a seperate note...anyone else see Rio's World Cup windups? How thick is that boy? "You've been merc'ed..." WTF? What about this one... "Ha ha, mashup boyee, we sent a random FA official to the man united training ground pretending he was doing random drug tests..." Oh, you've heard it?

Theo Walcott's World Cup Diary... continued...
"Haha, spent the day reading more hilarious websites making out I'm still at school, doing a paper round and about six years old. In Heat magazine which I sometimes read 'cos my schoolgirl girlfriend gets it, they have a hilarious twist, it's my girlfriends Diary! It was so funny, banging on about Posh Spice and Colleen McCloughlin being her best friend and taking her shopping. I've never laughed so much. I have a t-shirt under my England shirt ready for tonight to say thanks to all the hilarious spoofsters, it says "f*ck off, you unfunny, unimaginative c*nts..." choicey language for a six year old, eh readers?! Spiffing! 'til the next time. Grrr..."

Henry Not Worried...
A disappointing 0-0 draw with Switzerland doesn't worry Thierry Henry, he's not worried at all: "I am not worried..." Henry said. Raymondo Dominatrix, France's Coach said on the game: "It was not a physical problem... the players were fit and ready, now we have to win against South Korea. It could be a tense match but great players and great teams must be able to raise their level on big occasions..." I also had another quote from Patrick Vieira but somehow deleted it, probably for the best.

Save Some Goals for Us Tom...!
Goalkeeper of the World Cup so far Jens Lehmann wants his new Arsenal team mate Tomas Rosicky to hold back on the goals, and relax ahead of the new season at Highbury. Lehmann played alongside Rosicky at Borussia Dortmund, and said: "I watched the match and it is nice to see that Tomas is in great shape at the beginning of such a tournament, but looking ahead, I would love him to scale back a little bit now and relax before playing really well for us (Arsenal)..." Lehmann kept a clean sheet against Poland on Wednesday night as Germany ran out 1-0 winners against Poland with a last minute winner...

Togo Stick...
Sorry to harp on about the World Cup, but its all there is at the moment... Emmanuel Adebayor played a full 90 minutes against South Korea on Tuesday but the Togo-ners threw away a 1-0 lead and eventually lost out to South Korea, losing 2-1 in Frankfurt. Adebayor's Togo take on Phil Senderos's Switzerland next Monday, June 19th...

Franks Gone to Iceland ...
Frank Rijkaaaaard has gone and bought Chelsea's latest outcast Eidur Gudhohnssen from Chelsea. There were rumours earlier in the week that Gudjohnssen could be Arsenal bound, but Rijkaaaard pounced to land the Icelandic international. Chelsea have just under 79% of the worlds population on their books now with the departure of Eidur G...

By the way, we're still awaiting planning permission for our new heading font. If any of our readers have any objections, please let us know. There is one of them bits of paper in a plastic wallet nailed onto a lamppost in London somewhere, but we'd rather hear from the horses mouth so to speak. Answers on a postcard, and remember, keep them peeled, and your enemies closer. Or something. Ooh yeah, something else too.. we now have www.arsenalshorts.co.uk as well as .com. We have invested the £8.70 we've made from the site in about 5 years, very wisely I think you'll agree... more tomorrow, bet you can't wait eh?!
