Van Persie Strikes...
A great free kick from the boy Robin saw Hollands Dutch Netherlands into the final sixteen of the FIFA World Cup 2006 on Friday. Following Argentina's 6-0 demolition of poor Serbia and Montego Bay, Holland ran out 2-1 winners against Kolo Toure and pals. The World Cup, isn't it? Hm..?

Freddie Breaks Paraguayan Hearts...
A last minute strike by our very own Freddie Ljungberg kept Englands group wide open, as the Swede's beat Paraguay 1-0 on Thursday night. Freddie whipped off his shirt to reveal his new tattoo which says: "England not beaten Sweden for 38 year!" He love it, that crazy Scandanavian. OH YEAH!

Semi On for Wenger...?
Those Clubcall scamps reckon we could be in line to sign Chievos' 'highly rated winger' Franco Semioli. Inter Milan still remain favourites, as long as Clubcall haven't just made the story up that is...

Wenger's Poll is Out...
It's Wenger week on AFCi, and they have done a poll about Sir Wengers greatest decision as Arsenal manager and you can see the results here. What a man, what a legend - shame they didn't mention 'not shaking Martin Jol's hand' though. Also, lest we forget my favourite quote: "Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home..." Genius.
