Cesc Upset...
Sir Cesc of Fabregas has expressed his unhappiness following Spain's defeat at the hands of France in last nights World Cup match: "Once again I walk out as a loser, it has already happened in the Champions League final and it's painful. I know that I am young and that there will be other tournaments, but time flies and you need to take advantage of these opportunities. We didn't do that against France. The team leaves Germany knowing that we should have done better..." Bless'im...

Squad Additions...
Check our new page, it will probably end up a bit like those people with England flags hanging out of their cars, i.e. ended before its begun, but we'll try and put a page together for each and every one of our illustrious squad. First in a series of 34, number one, No.1 Jens Lehmann... Coinceidentally, its also Jens Lehmann week on Arsenal.com...

Adams Jets In...
Following on from last months' rumours, Tony Adams has rowed into Portsmouth to become Harry Redknapps number two. His old number two has now moved up to Newcastle leaving Adams free to engage the role he vacated and left open for him. You might remember Tony Adams from such matches as Tottenham in the Cup Semi-Final, but he said: "Harry's a guy I respect and one I'd love to work with, he obviously thinks a lot of me to approach me and I've got a lot of admiration for him. The respect I've got for him is second to none, he's a great man. I love the character he is. He seems really honest and that's all I've ever wanted, to work for people who are like that..." think he likes him.

I'm No Cheat...
In last nights clash between France and Spain, Thierry Henry has been accused of feigning injury when he went down holding his face after a challenge from Manuel Poohole. Henry has defended himself though: "Spain's left-back Mariano Perina was going to win the ball so I don't know why Puyol cut across me, but he did. I don't cheat..." he did seem to be holding his face needlessly, but show me a player who doesn't do that kind of thing, and I'll show you a monkey on the toilet...

Sheffield Wednesday are being linked with Sunderland's Mart Poom who plays for us. The Estonian International is being linked with a loan move due to a shortage in Sheffield Wednesday's goalkeeping tavern...
