Wenger Has a Great Pair Up Front - Wha-Hey!
Sir Wenger has told Arsenal.com to tell us to tell you that he'll be playing two strikers again, now Ade is ready to play again: "Alex likes to play through the middle, but I must say if you ask Steven Gerrard or Tomas Rosicky or any of these kinds of creative players then they all say they want to play there.“However I cannot isolate Robin van Persie up there the whole year. It does not work on a longer period. It can work in some games but it cannot be the basis of your game. You need two strikers..."

No Regrets...
In the words of the Walker Brothers, Sven Goran Eriksson has said he has no regrets about taking Foetus Walcott to Germany for the 2006 World Cup, he said he also plans to take him to the pictures, ice skating, and the zoo before the end of the Summer Holidays. Sven said: "I don't regret taking him to Germany but I regret that he couldn't play because he was in good shape, he has great pace and is still in good shape. I don't think that the alternatives to Walcott at the time would have changed anything in the World Cup..." Sven will be bringing his Man City side to the Emirates having won 3 out of 3 and sitting pretty at the top of the league...

New Deal for AW...
Chairman Peter Hill-Wood has been quoted as saying that Sir Wenger is close to a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2010: "Hopefully we'll have something to say in the next week or so. The length of the contract is up to him but hopefully it will be a two or three-year deal. We certainly want to pay him what he's worth. But money is not the major stumbling block - there are just little pieces here and there to sort out..."

International Round Up...
England lost 2-1 at home to Germany thanks to some f*cking sh*t keeping from Paul Robinson. Eduardo scored for Croatia who beat Bosnia 5-3. The Cesc played a small part on Spain win in Greece. Nicklas Bendtner played in Denmarks 4-0 defeat by Northern Ireland. There were some others, but frankly I can't be arsed...
