Having had a nice wee holiday since like forever, Gilbert O'Silva has been called up by Brazil for two friendlies in September against the USA (9th), and Mexico (12th). O'Silva hasn't played this season after Sir Wenger gave the Irishman extended leave after playing in the Copa America...

Bitter Lehmann...
Lehmann's Achilles Heel... no, not 'easy to deal with, harmless looking potshots from outside the box', but his ankle. And like Paul Robinsons head, it's fat, bald and in bits apparently, and poor Mad Jensen will be out for around 2 weeks and will miss our game against Man City on Sunday at the Emirates Grove Arena at the very least.

Sir Wenger said: "Jens is out and he will miss two weeks, I think. Maybe more. I don't know. He is going to see a specialist in Germany tomorrow. He had this injury before but it has got much worse..."

Speaking about the visit of Man City this weekend, Sir W was also impressed by SGE's progess with his new side: "When you sign a lot of players, more than three or many more, then it usually takes time for them to click. But they have super-clicked and done so super-quickly as well..."
