Sky is the Limit...
Sky are opening the forthcoming exciting season with an absolute blinder of a match, newly promoted Sunderland against fourth place Tottenham. Fourth place Tottenham, London's top club will play the Black Cats on Saturday 11th of August, KO at 12:45. Sky have done the obvious thing, now we have sold our headline hitting French striker Jeremie Aliadiere, and we are therefore obviously now shite, and put our games on in September, formerly knows as the Spurs graveyard match slot.
Naturally, man united and Chelsea are on during the first weekend as Sky want to showcase their two favourite clubs.
A Sky spokesman said : "We shall cover every Premier League club in the first four months of the season and we shall also see last season's top four go head to head in four big games. The top four feature in another eleven live games in this first tranche of selections, and there will be more to come later in the season...." When asked about Arsenal, the spokesman said: "Who...?" Fourth place Spurs, now the new Arsenal are on an incredible FOUR times during August, while we have to wait until September for our first live game...

A Pinch of Salt and Wenger...
Madrid also clam theu have been in talks with Arsene Wenger about him taking over at the Bernabeu. Despite having a year left of his current Arsenal deal. "Once it was decided that Capello wouldn't continue, Mijatovic opened talks with Schuster, Koeman, Laudrup and Wenger but without reaching an agreement with any of them..."
