Ooh Get You Mutu...
Ex-Chelsea man has done nothing for Swedish Camp Freddie Ljungberg's attempts to shake of the rumours that he might be gay, not that there's anything wrong with being gay, should be be one, a gay that is, obviously.
When asked about a move to Fiorentina for Freddie, Mutu, also one of the Sugababes said:"That would be wonderful, he is a champion both on the field and in the locker room..." Um.. .

Cesc on the Cusp...
Francesc 'The Cesc' Cesc Fabregas has admitted that we are on the brink of something special, and could surprise a few people this season. Despite being favourtes to go down, Cesc's Arsenal are keen to prove a few people wrong, despite the departure of stars such as Jose Antonio Reyes, um... and the boy Aliadiere.
Cesc is quoted as saying: "I love this club, I believe a lot in this team and I feel we can do something special this season, we have been playing together for the last three or four years. We are very young but we are capable of doing big things. Since the start of this project we all promised to be together. We have to stick together and make titles for Arsenal..."
Remember the old days, when we in the Champions League, and winning...? Nope, us neither, but still, watch the new video in the video vault, see if it nudges your memory banks...
Fergie Confident...
Bad news for Top Four Tottenham, Sir Alex Ferguson reckons we'll be in the top four: "They'll be in the top four, I'm more convinced they will be in the top four without Jeremie Aliadiere. I just thought it was time for him to go. Arsene Wenger knew that, and I think they'll do better..."
Crystal Palacio...
Sir Wenger is apparently after a move for Argentinaeeaean striker Rodrigo Palacio, and will smash our transfer record to do it. It's rumoured that we have had a £15m bid accepted for the player, not sure where we got that kind of money from, but happy days. He's rumoured to be about to take on the number 14 shirt, recently vacated by Martin Keown. Its also rumoured that Barcelona had a bid accepted for the player before they changed their mind and bought someone else. This could all be a scurrillous, made up rumour just like the Angel Di Maria link, but hey, we'll see...
The striker has scored 39 goals in 79 games for Boca Juniors, so would be a welcome addition to the squad. Palacio was part of the squad who lost 3-0 in the Copa America to Gilbert O'Silva's Brazil, The Beast was also on the scoresheet, he must have learned a lot from JA...
Dodgy Barnet...
Our first friendly of the summer was a successful one, with goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Nacer Bazarite seeing us to a 2-0 victory over Barnet at Underhill. The game wasn't without incident, with racist chanting, and what looked like a crippling injury to Denilson. The ex-serial killer and young Brazilian was stretchered off, but Sir Wenger reckons it won't be long before he's back which is nice. New boys Havard Norbit and Lukasz Fabianksi came on as second-half subs, while Edward O'Silva was watching the win from the cheap seats...
Wenger said on the result: "You could see we were not yet ready physically but it is our traditional start to the season and the target is to improve. We wanted to improve our combination play and not get injured, and sharpen up physically, and that is what we managed to do. I feel we have a good potential to do it. Of course we will focus more on sharing the responsibilities, and we can do that by not relying too much on one individual and there are players that will take responsibilities, like van Persie, Adebayor, Walcott, Eduardo who has just come in, and young Bendtner as well. Some players always raise their game when there is a departure like that (Aliadiere)..."
Bac Four Addition...
We signed a new defender, Bacary Sagna, he cost loads from Auxerre, most people aren't complaining, which is nice. However I can't be arsed to write about it cos me battery is, like Jose Antonio, running out... read it on here instead...
Thats you all up to date then... more later!
