Kit washing legend Vic Akers took some time out from washing machine filling practice to fill us in on his thought about the passing of Michael Jackson: "I'm just devastated, very, very sad. I pray that his soul is up there now. I'm still trying to hold on to the glimmer that it is not true. It is too surreal for me to absorb that Michael is no longer with us..."

When asked what he thought about pop these days, Akers replied: "Stick it on a 40 degree wash, and it should come right out..." Akers is the real king of pop it seems... it doesn't make a difference if its black or white, Akers will get it clean, now beat it imo

U16 skipper Samir Carruthers will be signing for Aston Villa on July 1st its being reported after he turned down a contract offered by Arsenal.

Villa's Academy Director has said: "He was offered a contract by Arsenal and turned it down. We were given permission by Arsenal to speak to him. We have agreed in principle a contract and hopefully he is going to sign for us on July 1..."
