Brazil Wins Confederations Cup…
Gilbert O'Silva's Brazil won the Confeds Cup v USA on Sunday night, after coming back from a shock 2 goal deficit to win 3-2 and take the trophy. Meanwhile in the 3/4th place play off, the Cesc was an unused sub as Spain beat South Africa 3-2 AET...

Theo Walcott and Keiron Gibbs should be in action tonight as the U21's European Championship final takes place in Swindon... lots more on that here...

O'Silva Urges Melo Hello...
While we're on the subject of what a nice lad Gilberto is, he's told Felipe Melo to join our ranks are rumours of his arrival heat up.

GOS said: 'We heard rumours and he asked me, I said it's a fantastic club and if he's interested he should go without thinking. He is exactly what they need - a powerful player with quality. If they got him it would be great because he is a player they need at the moment. 'I'm sure if they got him it would be a good signing. I have told him Arsenal is a great club and I am sure next season they will improve..."

Cash Strapped? Not For Much Longer Gooners...
Big fat rich man Alison Usmanov has offered to sort out the club with £100m for players, and wipe out some debts out of the good of his heart. The club are said to be reviewing this selfless act, so watch this space, you get the idea when that one...
