Players Released - We'll Miss the Bisch…
Eight players have been released from the club it's been revealed this morning. There is no other way to put this, but to come out with it - BISCHOFF IS LEAVING. The international man of mystery is to depart from Arsenal to further his incredible career elsewhere.

Four players have been handed professional contracts as a smokescreen to the Bischoff departure news, Luke Ayling, Craig Eastmond, Cedric Evina keeper James Shea have all been handed pro contracts. Well done lads.

A statement on Arsenal.com reads: "The Club can also confirm that eight players have been released after reaching the end of their contracts. We wish Amaury Bischoff, Anton Blackwood, James Dunne, Rui Fonte, Abu Ogogo, Paul Rodgers, Rene Steer and Vincent van den Berg well for their future careers and thank them all for their contributions they made to Arsenal Football Club..."

Helpline Set Up...
Kitman Vic Akers has been called back from him holiday in San Francisco to set up a help line for Arsenal fans, sure to be rocked by the news about Bischoffs' release. Its thought to have been designed for distraught fans of the Portuguese midfield general who could be put on suicide watch once the news gets out.

Bischoff, a cult figure amongst today's teenage massive, will be sorely missed, and Akers said this morning from his private jet over the Atlantic: "This could be a similar moment to when Take That split up — there could be a lot of upset teenagers out there. We must be responsible and brace ourselves for an outpouring of grief similar to when Thierry Henry left, and when Alberto Mendez did one, so yes, we are looking to set up a helpline for the kids..."

England Hammered...
England were on the receiving end of a complete Mike Reid sized WALLOP last night in Swindon as the U21s were beaten 4-0 by their German counterpieces. Theo played (badly, up front on his own) and Gibbs also featured in the game...
