Draw News... Loan Moves... Nasri Back? Little Jack...

Deadline Day...
Like the thief in the night out of that Take That song, deadline day came and went for us Arsenaleers, nothing to see here, no siree. Nacer Barazite turned down Benfica, and went to Vitesse Arnhem on loan and our man Traore joined Juventus(eh?) on load with a view to a perm deal and that was about it. Our new goalkeeper didn't materialise despite Sky Sports best frenziness so its time to get behind Almunia, and like another blog said, applaud the Spanglisher for his pretty dignified conduct over the past few weeks...

Talking of dignified conduct, Little Jack Wilshere was involved in an unsavoury incident over the weekend on the mean streets of Kensington. Its thought that he helped to break up a fight, and was arrested as a result. Jack is a teetotaller apparently, and was termed a 'peacemaker' in the fracas aftermath...

Jap with a Mishap Trapped...
The only other snippet to come out of Sky Sports' deadline day bonanza, was we might be signing Ryo Miyaichi, and young Japanese striker from... well, Japan. He's 17, he's a striker and Arsenal officials are said to be winging their way Japanwards to sign him up. He is currently nursing a broken leg like half of our of existing squad and it saves time in the long run buying already injured players its thought.

Spurs Date Confirmed...
Champions League winners, top London club and top two of the Premier League 2010/11 elect Tottenham Hotspur will allow us to play them in the Carling Cup 3rd round on Tuesday 21st September 2010 with Kick off at 7.45pm The game will be shown on Sky Sports, and a DVD will be released by two time league winners that very evening*

*if they win/draw/win on pens.

Nasri Back...?
Talking of injured players, its thought Samir Nasri could be back as soon as next weekend and be ready for the visit of Bolton Wanderers to the Emirates. It was thought he could be out for over a month following knee surgery, but its looking like he is back in light training already...
