Cup Draw Made...
The draw for the 4th round of the FA Cup was made in Soho Square, and we'll face Stoke or Newcastle at The Emirates. Don't ask me why, but I have a (I SAID DON'T ASK!) feeling we're gonna get Newcastle, dump them out of the cup and Sir Wenger is going to have the last laugh by seeing Fat Sam sacked following the tie. Just a small hunch back at the office...
Silva Medal...
Kolo Toure has been heaping praise on everyone's favourite Irish, Brazilian, Croatian Edward O'Silva like a deranged farmer, heaping shit onto a large pile of more shit - maybe not the best metaphor, but lets run with it for now.
Toure said, following O'Silva's goal against Burnley: "Eduardo's finishing is unbelievable. It seems that every time he gets a chance he scores - and he also manages to score at very important times for us. His composure is outstanding when he is in front of goal.He has now played with Nicklas [Bendtner] for some time and they know each other's games very well and they look a very good partnership..."
Dutch Gone...
According to AFCi , the man with the Dutchiest name in Holland Vincent van den Berg has joined the Go Ahead Eagles for the rest of the season. The side, sponsored by those fitness bars have taken the 'versatile striker' on loan. good luck Vince...
Phil In Charge...
According to scurrillous reports in the media, Phil Dowd will be in charge of our home game against Birmingham on Saturday. That's about it.
Only Ourselves to Blame...
Siir Wenger has been speaking out about the Irish Nations Cup which see us lose 3 players these coming weeks. Colin O'Toure, Gilbert O'Silva and his cousin Edward are leaving the Arsenal training camp and heading to the shores of Cork for a headers and volleys tournament.
However, Sir Wenger beleives that Chelsea will be the hardest hit: "I believe it will be Chelsea who suffers the most, though on the other had they can buy more than anyone else to correct that. Losing Mikel, Essien, Drogba and Kalou, that's four main players. Nobody loses that many. We are just behind Chelsea and Portsmouth also - but I won't use it as an excuse if we don't win the title because I have known who we will lose since the start of the season. If they were injured, I wouldn't complain..." Bet you would.
Two updates in one day...? Told you we were back.
