Jens - I'm Staying...
Our mentally and physically unsettled crazy German keeper Jens Lehmann is now set to stay at the club despite rumours of an imminent move back to Germany. The keeper said: It could be that I will be playing often again at Arsenal... However, I believe that my coach Arsene Wenger does not necessarily plan on playing me. But I cannot allow myself anything else than to believe in my chance..."

Elephant Unpacks His Trunk...
Accodinig to reports, Vyacheslav Dmitriev isn't on his way to The Emirates after all, and the news of his departure from Torpedo Moscow to join us were greatly exaggerated it seems. Dmitriev's agent has now admitted: "At the moment we are talking about a prior interest from Arsenal, their interest was from the junior side. I got information from one European agent, but there have not been anymore phone calls from England at the moment..."

Old Boys Come Good...
Robert Pires was amongst the scorers as his Villareal side beat Valencia 3-0, and Thierry scored the only goal of the game as Barcelona beat someone 1-0 in Spain...

Wenger Hails Ade...
Sir Wenger reckons Adebayor's Tongolese absence from the African Cup of Nations will help us to keep up a charge for the Premiership. With Kolo Toure and Emanuel Eboue out, we cruised to a 3-0 victory at John Craven's Cottage against Fulham, Adebayor netting twice. Sir Wenger said: “I must confess I wasn’t devastated when Togo didn’t qualify! It would have been difficult without Adebayor although we do have players who are coming on very well like Eduardo, Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott. We had to pick him up a little bit when Togo didn’t qualify but he is a mentally strong-willed guy. He has personality and he is now focused on his achievements here. He is also the main striker now and he gives us an added dimension with his headers..."

Wenger added: “In the past, he has sometimes ended up going out to the flanks because he so wants to be involved in play but that drags him away from where he can be lethal. We’ve been telling him that for a while and he was more focused on being central today which is good. He has an unbelievable jump, he times his jumps very well and he’s terrific in those situations..."

Looks like the Arsenal faithful have struck gold with this new song for Big Ade....

The Daily Mail have said that we are currently embroiled in a row with Spurs about tickets for the Carling Cup, they also claim that we are about to put in a £40m for Samuel Eto'o'o'o'o. ...won't be holding our breath on that one. There have also been rumours that Spurs are to rest their best players ahead of our semi-final this week... genius.
