Chelsea Poach Two Ladies...
Not literally of course. Anyway, we digress, not content with not being able to buy their way to any silverware of note in the mens league, Chelsea are all set to win f*ck all in the world of Ladies football as well, with the arrival of two Arsenal Ladies. Lianne Sanderson and Anita Asante (surely the landlady of the Queen Vic in downtown Harlem) both joining Chelsea... Well done there.

Fixture Moves Announced...
In a nutshell, our friends at Sky have moved a load of fixtures seemingly to stop us enjoying ourselves. A West Ham site has them all here, but important ones, i.e. ours, are:

First game of the season, WBA at home, moved to 12:45pm, 16th August meaning we kick off the season, which is nice.
Fulham away moved to 5:15pm Aug 23rd Setanta (TBC on the approval of the filth/police/bizzies/fuzz etc)
Bolton away moved to 12:45pm, 20th September
Everton home, moved to 12:45pm October 18th
Arsenal v Top 3 Tottenham at The Emirates, moved to 8pm Weds 29th October
Stoke away, moved to 5:15pm Setanta, November 1
Arsenal v man united moved to Sunday, 9th November 4pm, which will be a full 11 years to the minute after our amazing 3-2 win at Highbury on the way to the double.

Any more, we'll be sure to let you know...

AirHead Senna...
Marcos Senna will apparently turn his back, Naboo style, on a move to the Emirates. The 31 year old midfielder, who is said to be a Wenger target, has said: "I met with the president of Villarreal on Tuesday and we talked about extending my contract by two years, but now I want to rest. I am on holiday and hope to detach myself from these things..."

Villarreal president Fernando Roig said: “He wants to stay for life with us and he’s a great person. We are very proud of him. Senna is happy here and they are staying at Villarreal..."

Surely thats that then...?

Barcelona Have Upped the Ante...
Barcelona have apparently put in a formal, and final £30m bid for Emmanuel Adebayor, according to them there papers. We apprently turned down a £25m bid, but The Mirror reckons that Barca Vice-President Marc Ingla has been in England trying to finalise the deal. They reckon he's left a take it or leave it offer on Sir Wengers shiny table...

New Kit Pic...
You've seen it already no doubt, but here is a pic of our new kit, looks nice, and nice touches in the ad, a homeage to the 20th anniversary of 1989 (well it will be). Namely the 89 league trophy and the number 7 shirt... world class. Rumours afoot that Spurs will copy the ad, using their incredible Swaziland Trophy win as the basis with John Chedozie's shirt hanging up are said to be wide of the mark...
