Last Gasp Point Made...
As a difficult week came to an end, so did our title hopes almost, until 9 foot 6 inch striker Nicklas Bendtner popped up with a vital equaliser at the Emirates on Saturday. With Chelsea and man united both winning convincingly, we found ourselves losing to a Big Phil Senderos own goal right up until the 3rd minute of injury time. Then, from a sweeping Clichy cross, Adebayor nodded down for his mate Bendtner to side foot home for a point, and more importantly saw us retain top spot buy the narrowest of margins. On a sour note, there were pockets of crowd trouble after Aston Villa fans were singing sick chants aimed at Eduardo, that, understandably Arsenal fans took offence to.
Meanwhile, Spurs keep up their top four tilt, with more points dropped by Arsenal, meaning they can now no longer win the league, but at least know what they have to do, a massive positive. They will be steaming ahead full of hope knowing full well all they have to do get second place is win all their games, hope we lose all of ours, and also hope they score about 35 goals in the process to overturn our goal difference. Shit Cup specialists Tottenham lost by the narrowest of 4-1 margins away at Birmingham, and now have the 2nd Champions League place firmly in their sights, hoping to qualify for the Champions League to replace the Thursday night, Bravo+1 UEFA Cup which they have already qualified for, following in the footsteps of Middlesbrough and er... other great sides by winning what some call the most important domestic cup competition of the season - Spurs fans do anyway.

Not that we encourage the reading of the quite plainly, anti-Arsenal Daily Mail, but just this once, see here for details, and a picture...
Seedorf Out...
Still remains to be seen, but rumours afoot that Clarence Seedorf and possibly Kaka will miss the game at the San Siro tomorrow night. AC Milan, knows for their pre-match psychological trickery reckon they're both out. Meanwhile, Sir Wenger should welcome back Kolo Toure and Emanual Eboue to the fold after suspension and injury respectively. There are also rumours that Robin van Persie could be on the bench...
No Walcott Deal...
Southampton have moved to quash any rumours that we have been asked for an early pay off of the Walcott deal. It was rumoured that Southampton asked for a lump sump up front, instead of the full amount over time, but Saints chairman Leon Crouch is quoted as saying: "There is a lot we would like to say in response to this story but unfortunately we have been placed in an offer period by the Stock Exchange who insist that we remain in it and whose rules therefore prevent us from talking about financial matters. What we can say is that Barclays continue to be supportive and we have a positive relationship with them. Like all clubs we have an overdraft facility but we have certainly not exceeded our limit despite this kind of scaremongering which has many inaccuracies and which does the club no good at all..." Thanks for clearing that up Crouchy, I know a lot of our readers were worried...
